A woman has gone viral after claiming there should be the option for adults-only air travel.
Morgan Lee, 24, who is from the US but living in Vienna, shared the idea in a TikTok video after listening to a child cry on her plane.
The student shared that her three-hour journey was relentlessly disturbed by the young passenger, despite her having noise-cancelling headphones on hand.
The flight was 3 hours and I listened to this the entire time #travel
Morgan Lee, 24 - who is from the United States but is currently based in Vienna, Austria - filmed herself looking worn out as she leaned against the plane window. She sparked a debate on adults-only flights saying she would pay 'so much money' for a child-free cabin
Captioning the clip posted last week, which now has more than 687,500 views, Morgan wrote: 'The flight was 3 hours and I listened to this the entire time.
She added: 'The child was WELL over 5 years old, and they sat directly behind me while kicking my chair as the mother slept.'
However it would seem the commenters were divided.
Some pointed out it was 'harder for mothers' but others, including parents, admitted they 'want an adult only flight too'.
One wrote: 'I don't have kids, but even I have the maturity and grace to accept my situation, especially when there are children involved.'

Another quipped: 'As a parent I 100% agree. I would love to be on an airplane and not get dirty looks or grunts from angry people that don’t like kids/noise.'
A third wrote: 'As a woman who used to get extremely frustrated by this, I promise you now (as a mom) the mothers are already stressed bc we KNOW everyone else is mad.'
Some parents however, defended Morgan's tongue-in-cheek air travel suggestion.
'I am a mother and I agree! I would pay more for an adult only flight,' one user penned. 'Why is everyone so pressed?? She isn’t suggesting to throw them off board.

One wrote: 'All the commenters are the ones who let their kids scream for 5 hours like it’s doesn’t stress 200 other people out. Whatever.'
Another remarked: 'Idk why you’re getting hate. You aren’t giving dirty looks/yelling at anyone you’re just saying you’d pay for a child free flight. People need to chill.'
It's not the first time passengers have called for a child-free flight.
In a 2012 poll, one-third of Britons admitted they would be willing to pay higher fares if it meant a child-free flight.
Some parents however, defended Morgan's tongue-in-cheek air travel suggestion
According to the survey by TripAdvisor, 22 per cent of respondents said a child kicking the back of their seat was their pet peeve on flights and a further 22 per cent claimed parents not controlling their children and idly watching them run amok was their biggest frustration when flying.
A 2017 survey by Airfarewatchdog also found that more than half of respondents felt that families with young children should be 'required to sit in a separate section of the plane'.
According to travel blog A Childfree Happily Ever After, a number of airlines have in past put in measures to make flights more comfortable when young kids are on board, including 'quiet zones', 'flying nannies' and soundproof curtains.
