The much-awaited Apple event ‘Far Out’ took place at Apple Park in Cupertino on Wednesday. Here's a compilation of all the latest tech offerings from the Cupertino-based tech giant.
It was the first device to be launched at the ‘Far Out’ event. The new smartwatch from Apple has similarities with its predecessor - the Watch Series 7. Features such as crash detection, built-in temperature sensors, and ovulation tracking for women, make Apple Watch Series 8 unique.
The Apple Watch Series 8 comes with the advanced crash detection feature. According to Apple, the feature has been deployed with an intent to save lives by alerting authorities automatically. This can be particularly useful in instances where the user may have been impacted by a severe crash.
Apple has also unveiled its second generation Watch SE. The new Watch SE sports a 30 per cent larger display and is reportedly 20 per cent faster. The new generation Watch SE also comes with crash detection.
Apple Watch Ultra is made of Titanium which makes it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The Ultra comes with the biggest battery that offers up to 36 hours of regular use. On low power mode, the battery life can be extended up to 60 hours.
