Unique sound absorption for all-wooden interior.

Innovation in Textiles  |  Stavanger, Norway

Norwegian financial institution SpareBank 1 SR-Bank wanted its new headquarters in Stavanger to give something back to its customers and the region.

An all-wooden construction was designed with the high-performance acoustic fabric Fibertex FiberAcoustic 450 in a carefully selected colour behind the solid wooden list.

The nonwoven product enabled complete design freedom and is providing both unique sound absorption and an improved indoor climate.

FiberAcoustic 450 can be supplied by Fibertex, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, in any colour specified by NCS or Pantone, providing a unique opportunity for design creativity without compromising  acoustic performance.

The ink does not affect the product’s fire retardance or acoustic properties.
