The Sunday Acoustic Brunch series continues on Sunday, May 15th from 10 AM to 3 PM CST at Skooter's Roadhouse. Eating good food combined with listening to relaxing music will make Sunday your absolute fun day to start off the new week right and to recover from Saturday night.
The featured musician for this Sunday's Acoustic Brunch will be Amber Lea Berg. Berg is a singer and songwriter that performs regionally throughout the Midwest. Her music ranges from pop to rock and roll. She also can play the harmonica while playing the guitar at the same time. The multitasking is awesome in the musical realm.
The food for the brunch at Skooter's is absolutely tremendous. The brunch menu is specialized more towards breakfast. Some of the breakfast fare that is served are pancakes, French toast, waffles, and omelets.
One of the main features on the menu is a classic spin on pigs in a blanket with pigs on a blanket. The pigs on a blanket is a Belgian waffle topped with BBQ pulled pork and bacon strips. You can also combine breakfast and lunch with steak and eggs or chicken and waffles.
If you are a strictly lunch guy, then the lunch-only items are a double cheeseburger, BBQ chicken, boneless chicken wings, and chopped salad. The prices for the items on the brunch menu are in a good price range between seven and fifteen dollars.
The best part about brunch is the drinks that help to wash down all of the food. If you are still dealing with a hangover, then a Bloody Mary would work out for you. However, the best deal on the drink menu is the bottomless mimosas for $15. You can get saucy before watching all of the Game 7's in the NBA and the NHL.
Skooter's Roadhouse is located at 700 W. Jefferson Street in Shorewood, IL.

After the Atlanta Falcons did not reach the National Football League (NFL) Playoffs for the fourth season in a row with a 7-10 record, the Falcons decided to go with a full rebuild when they traded franchise quarterback Matt Ryan to the Indianapolis Colts in the offseason.
